ORBIS Corporation, an international manufacturer of sustainable reusable packaging and an expert in supply chain optimization, today announces it has received approval from Factory Mutual Insurance (FM) for a new non-halogenated fire-retardant material, for use in its family of FM-approved, fire retardant pallets. Effective immediately, ORBIS will offer this FM-approved halogen-free (HF) material in more than 18 pallets. Included among those are the 40 x 48 HF RackoCell® Pallet, which can edge-rack up to 2,200 lbs in the 40 inch direction in ambient temperatures.
